He is a notable alumnus of IIT Kharagpur, where he earned a degree in metallurgical engineering. He received his M.S. from Stanford University and his MBA from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, where he was named a Siebel Scholar and a Palmer Scholar.
He began his career as a materials engineer before joining Google as a management executive in 2004 and eventually becoming the company’s CEO in 2015. Pichai joined Google in 2004 and was in charge of product management and innovation for several of Google’s client software products, including Google Chrome and Chrome OS, as well as Google Drive. Menezes is an American/British business executive who was born in India. He is an IIM graduate who became the CEO of Diageo, the British beverages conglomerate, in July 2013. Vasant Narasimhan is an Indian American doctor who is currently the CEO of Novartis, a pharmaceutical company. Narasimhan previously worked at Sandoz International as the Global Head of Biopharmaceuticals and Oncology Injectables. In 2005, Narasimhan joined Novartis.
